Thanks to its specially designed head shape and high bristle density, this brush enables the so-called wash glaze technique. The wet watercolor paint is absorbed from the paper, allowing the artist to easily make corrections without damaging the paper. The advantage over a sponge or a conventional watercolor brush is that the corrections are more subtle and barely visible in the overall paint application. At the same time, the brush allows for the creation of soft and very delicate glazing effects.
